Due to the bad weather forecast, snow, low clouds and strong wind the launch is cancelled :( The last launch of the year is planned for Saturday November 25, 2023 at Kaltbrunn. Motor Reloads / X-Pad Please pre-order motor reloads (orders (AT) spacetecrocketry.com) to ensure, that they will be available at the launch. It is not planned to set-up the X-Pad. If somebody should need the X-Pad, they need to take care of it at least one week in advance of the launch. |

The rules for flight days (from 2020) apply
Each flight day will be conducted as "normal" and EX (decision GV 2019). Since we have to set up two separate Ranges for this, please specify UNCONDITIONALLY if you want to fly EX and take care of the necessary launching infrastructure! (own engines according to EX rules, e.g. Herbert's sugar engines or the Microhybrid).
Time: Set-up from 9:15, flying from 10:00 Uhr until 16:00. Afterward disassembly.

The TRA Safety Code applies. Each model must be submitted for approval before launch. Further information on the course. Launch facilities (launch pads) are available. End of launch operations at approx.17.00.

Motors: Only certified motors from TRA/NAR are permitted. Self-built engines are subject to TRA Research rules.
LIMITS: Motors up to "J", For composite motors NO clustering, NO staging applies.
MAX. ALTITUDE: 600m for single stage recovery / 900m for two stage recovery with redundant drogue ejection system. More detailed and further binding restrictions can be found in the Safety Regulations!
Electronic Recovery Systems: For safety reasons, recovery systems with "self-made electronics" are only permitted if they comply with the regulations on Safety of electronic recovery systems
INSURANCE: All flyers must be insured! (HPR: Tripoli; up to 1kg: SMV or private.) The insurance must be proven on the flight day (TAR member card / valid insurance certificate).
CARS AT THE RANGE: Parking and driving ONLY on the trail! Do not leave the path under any circumstances to avoid damaging the meadow. Use of the access road is permitted for participation in the event. If anyone is stopped by police on the access road, please report to one of us. We can refer the officers to the responsible person of the Kapo SG.
